Transit:

We are located only 1 minute away from the Chicago stop of the Blue Line "L"  subway stop! 

The Blue line has transfer-less access to O'Hare airport and gets you downtown in 2 stops!

  1.  D'Agostino's Pizza and Pub - 752 N Odgen (0 min) - Tavern style pizzas with a sweet sauce, full bar and ice cream shop.  On Wednesday they have 1/2 price large pizzas
  2.  Vajra - 1329 W Chicago (5 min) - Upscale Indian
  3.  Coalfire - 1321 W Grand (7 min) - Napolean style pizzas
  4.  Mart Anthony's Italian - 1200 W Hubbard (9 min)- Classic Chicago Italian restaurant
  5.  Bari Subs - 1120 W Grand (9 min) - Italian grocery with deli counter in the back making fresh subs on fresh italian bread.  So delicious
  6.  La Scarola - 721 W Grand Ave (12 min) - Old school Italian restaurant, red/white checker table cloths, butcher paper, very crowded almost all the time
  7.  The Dawson - 730 W Grand (13 min) - Beautiful restaurant and patio, great cocktails and upscale American food

Bars

  1.  Matchbox - 770 N Milwaukee (1 min) - Cocktails
  2.  Twisted Spoke - 501 N Odgen (7 min) - Large rooftop patio and they serve food
  3. Chipp Inn -  832 N Greenview (11 min) - Quintessential Chicago "corner bar tavern" tucked into a residential neighborhood dating back to 1897.   Bottled and draft beer, basic cocktails and marginal wine, Zero food. Pool Table and PhotoHunt machines   It's an icon. CASH ONLY
  4.  The Aberdeen Tap - 440 N Aberdeen (11 min)- Neighborhood bar with  sidewalk patio, good draft list, & pub food
  5.  Recess - 838 W Kinzie (14 min) - One of the largest patios you will find in Chicago.  Trendy and good for drinks and snacks and as a nice first stop before headings to the Fulton Market/Randolph street area
  6.  Richards Bar - 491 N Milwaukee (12 min) Old school tin ceiling budget bar where people still smoke inside...it's unique to say the least
